Which qualities are important for your job?
Attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind! Both play a role in the outcome, effectiveness and impact of a design.
Work-life balance – possible at TGP?
Good performance at work is only possible if you can also have boundaries and downtime in your personal life. Doing good work is rewarding, but so is making time for the things you love outside of work – TGP hasn’t forgotten that!
Christian Seuling, Senior Consultant at GPC
Data-driven sports enthusiast with franconian roots and a preference for good food and cold drinks
What was your most exciting project so far?
It is almost impossible to name just one project as “the most exciting” given the variety and diversity of each project. But that’s the great thing about our work… In general, I find projects in promising sectors very exciting, such as new energy, automation or (digital) health.
What do you appreciate most about TGP?
What I value most are my great colleagues and the opportunity to contribute actively to various topics and the regular team events.
Severin Forstner, Manager at Telescope
Internationally experienced young professional in the field of IT, Tech and Software transactions
What makes TGP special?
With its diverse set of skills and employees, TGP offers clients a creative and unique 360° solution along the full circle of M&A deals.
What was your greatest team success so far?
Despite being a young company, Telescope has managed to quickly develop into one of the leading buyside advisories for small- and mid-market private equity clients in the German IT-Service and Software landscape. This would not have been possible, without a strong team of young and motivated employees.
Tim Leister, Senior Consultant at GPC
Guidepoint-God with a keen interest for expert discussions and data visualization
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The interdisciplinary nature of our company. You also get to work with sister companies based on skill set and knowledge to achieve the best possible results for our projects.
Your biggest team highlight?
I find the plural more appropriate here: My highlights are the frequent, spontaneous get-togethers in the evening, because the teams get along so well with each other.
Eva Wöllner, Working Student at GPC
SPSS nerd, passionate slide queen and engine fan
What was the decisive factor that made you stay at GPC after your internship?
At GPC, I saw the opportunity to develop myself further and take on responsibility to an extent that I would not have been able to do as a working student in any company. Due to the fact that I had been with the company for a year when I made my decision, I was able to work much more independently and it was simply difficult for me to say goodbye to my team and the GP family.
What was / is your biggest learning?
My biggest learning is that successful project management not only requires good preparation and planning up front, but also constant reflection and the ability to react quickly to challenges during the project. A flexible and agile way of working should be more than a buzzword and requires a well-coordinated team.
Claudio Hanssler, Intern at GPC
Cheerful market research and consulting intern with a Swabian seal of quality and (no) career as a DJ
How was the onboarding process at TGP?
The onboarding process was efficient and highly accessible thanks to a clear and detailed introduction to the company culture, processes, and workflows. TGP’s open company culture quickly gave me a sense of belonging and appreciation.
Why is TGP a Great Place to Work?
TGP is a company that fosters a culture of support and collaboration. The company places great emphasis on interesting and fun team-building events, which I had the pleasure of experiencing several times during my first few weeks of the internship.
Lisa Althof, Key Account Manager at GPC
Creative communication talent and hobby sommelier
What has been your biggest learning so far?
I learned very quickly that flexibility and the right communication are crucial. As a key account and project manager, you always have to keep an eye on everything and remain flexible concurrently, because circumstances and conditions can change very quickly. In order to stay one step ahead of the wave, you need flexibility and at the same time a clean and clear communication with everyone involved.
What memorable team moment would you like to share?
Due to the number of events we host at TGP, it is very difficult to pick or narrow down to one memorable moment. Looking back, I would say it’s not the “big” events, like the Oktoberfest or the Christmas party, but the small moments in everyday (work) life, like sitting together in the kitchen after a busy day, celebrating achievements or chatting with other colleagues from different teams in the hallway.
Leon Dilthey, Senior Consultant at Telescope
Data-oriented problem solver with a penchant for city trips and golf
How do you describe your learning curve so far?
During my time at Telescope, I was able to experience a steep learning curve. This is mainly due to the variety of tasks and the different business models that I have come across in the various projects.
What makes your job exciting?
It is precisely this range of tasks and diversified projects that ensure that my day-to-day work always remains exciting.
Kiki Fahning, Consultant at Telescope
Travel enthusiast with a passion for books and photography
What was the onboarding process at TGP like?
After a warm welcoming on my first day, the team has gradually introduced me to Telescope’s working methodology along its services and general project approach. During my first projects, my colleagues ensured a smooth start to the job.
Why is TGP a Great Place to Work?
TGP is a diverse group of people who love sharing and benefiting from different mindsets and expertise across a wide variety of projects. The young and dynamic but very ambitious teams make it an interesting place to work and grow both professionally and personally.
